Running crab-spider

These small fast-moving spiders are agile enough to outwit predators and human hands trying to catch them. Running crab spiders don't spin a silken web to catch an insect. They chase it, bite it to inject venom, and then consume it at the appropriate time. This family gathers 523 species in 29 genera and is found on all continents except the poles.
