The King of the Mountains

Minya Konka, the main peak of Daxueshan Mountain in the Hengduan Mountains, is locally known as Muya Gongga. It stands between Kangding City, Luding County, Jiulong County, and Shimian County of Ya\'an City, within the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province. In Tibetan, \'gong\' signifies ice and snow, while \'ga\' denotes whiteness, collectively implying a white iceberg. The summit of Gongga Mountain reaches an elevation of 7,508.9 meters, making it the highest peak in Sichuan Province. It is renowned as the \"King of Shu Mountains\" and stands as one of the mountains with the greatest elevation differences globally. Surrounding it are 45 peaks towering at altitudes exceeding 6,000 meters.
